Another old-school site similar to Yahoo3D. Map.net (which isn't a site anymore but is mentioned here) has buildings representing websites, with the biggest buildings representing the most popular sites.
This is where i store my research for for MA course.
I want to know if there is a better way of exploring the internet than using text as we do now. Could a visual browser or search engine be more effective at helping people find what they're looking for?
- Is there any demand for a "visual search engine" website?
- Would such a site be commercially viable?
- Does such a site(s) already exsist?
- If so, is there another gap in the market for another new type of website?
